An Ocean Paradise Just an Hour from Tokyo. The Miura Peninsula of Japan

Select Language

Miura Coast

Only a short one-hour train ride from Tokyo lies Miura Coast, home to a beautiful, sprawling beach that is one of the longest in all of eastern Japan.

Don't Miss It!

There's nothing more refreshing than a trip to the beach! I was close to the sea when I lived in Naples, too, and there's just something about that ocean air that fills you with energy. Next time I want to bike all the way to take a bike trip to Jogashima island!
